Worin unterscheidet sich Curcumin Solution von anderen Curcumin-Präparaten?
Curcumin ist ein sensationelles natürliches Molekül , aber seine Wirksamkeit hängt von der vom Körper aufgenommenen Menge ab. Normalerweise ist diese Absorption sehr gering, da die Stabilität des Moleküls unter sauren Bedingungen fehlt, die Löslichkeit in Verdauungsflüssigkeiten gering ist und der Durchgang durch die Darmwand schwierig ist (10-12).
Curcumin Solution erhöht diese Absorption erheblich durch Mikronisieren von Curcumin und Löslichkeit in Verdauungsflüssigkeiten durch Bildung von Mizellen (mikroskopische Perlen, die sich leicht mit Wasser vermischen). Das Verfahren ist äußerst ausgeklügelt: es multipliziert mit 185 die Kapazität von Curcumin, die Darmwand zu passieren, im Vergleich zu konventionellem Curcumin. Diese erhebliche Erhöhung der Absorption führt zu einer Erhöhung der Menge an Curcumin, die im Körper zirkuliert, und zu einer Erhöhung der Retention (unter normalen Umständen ist die Halbwertszeit von Curcumin sehr kurz). Zum Vergleich: Alle anderen Strategien zur Erhöhung der Absorption sind minderwertig: Die Zugabe von Piperin beispielsweise multipliziert seine Absorption nur um das 20- bis 30-fache (13-14), während die Aufnahme von Curcumin in Lecithin-Liposomen dies nur um das 4-fache tut.
Curcumin Solution ist das bioverfügbarste Nahrungsergänzungsmittel auf dem Markt, wie eine unabhängige Studie belegt (15).
Wie wirkt Curcumin im Körper?
Curcumin ist die biologisch aktivste Verbindung im Rhizom von Curcuma longa. Es hat eine Reihe von bemerkenswerten biologischen Vorteilen und wirkt auf mehrere zelluläre Ziele, die an Krebs (16), Diabetes (17), Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen (18-20), neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen (21), Rheuma (22) usw. beteiligt sind. Seine Wirkung gegen Entzündungen und überschüssige Blutfette wurde in mehreren Tier- und Humanstudien nachgewiesen (23-25). Insbesondere hemmt es die Synthese von Cholesterin durch die Leber (26) und reduziert die Aufnahme von Cholesterin in der Nahrung (27-29).
Aber die Eigenschaft von Curcumin, die die Forscher am meisten interessiert, ist seine Fähigkeit, die Vermehrung von Krebszellen zu verhindern. Es bewirkt dies, indem es in verschiedenen Phasen ihrer Entwicklung engreift und die Produktion von Enzymen fördert, die dem Körper helfen, sie leichter loszuwerden (30). Problem: Die Mengen, die sich in In-vitro-Experimenten als wirksam erwiesen haben, sind im Körper schwer zu erreichen unddie Curcumin Solution hat den Vorteil, die Absorption zu maximieren .
Im Jahr 2018 machte die Forschung einen großen Schritt nach vorne, indem sie die Auswirkungen von Curcumin auf ein Protein, das an Krebszellen beteiligt ist, identifizierte. (31).
